Independent Builder
Building an ecosystem
where every tool serves every other.
Backend developer from Vietnam with 7 years shipping Node.js and AWS at scale.
Now building an indie game dev ecosystem — tools, games, and content pipelines
where every piece feeds the others.
What I'm building
Projects
Creature-Raiser Auto-Battler
My main build — a roguelite that crosses creature-raising with auto-battler tactics: breed and train a roster, then send them into battles you've drafted rather than micro-managed. Pre-production in Godot right now — systems design locked, playable prototype next.
Bookie AI Video Pipeline ↗
An end-to-end pipeline that turns books into narrated video content for Bookie (a Vietnamese reading community I co-founded). n8n orchestrates 10 workflows across the full production chain — research, storyboarding, scripting, AI visuals, TTS, and Remotion video assembly. Three ways to run it: CLI, n8n's web UI, or a Google Sheets control panel. Pick your interface, hit go, come back to a finished video.
Agent Hub ↗
My personal infrastructure to keep Claude Code sane. It manages global skills, plugins, hooks, and bootstraps projects across a messy multi-repo workspace. Effectively, it turns Claude from isolated per-project islands into a unified, connected assistant that actually remembers my preferences.
Track record
Past work
36 hrs → 2 hrs
Matching System Optimization
A classic nightmare: a nightly matching job was taking 36 hours to chew through data, completely breaking our SLAs. Instead of throwing expensive servers at the problem, I dug into the query planner, rewrote the core algorithm from scratch, and added targeted indexes. The job now casually finishes in under 2 hours using the exact same infrastructure.
Manual → automated
AI-Powered Content Pipeline
The content team was stuck manually drafting and scheduling posts across three platforms, eating up 5 hours a week. I built an n8n pipeline that slurps up raw notes, formats drafts via the Claude API, and queues them for human review before auto-publishing. The team now spends 30 minutes clicking 'Approve' and 4.5 hours doing actual creative work.
What I can do
Capabilities
Backend Architecture & APIs
I design APIs, optimize databases, and wrangle AWS infrastructure. After 7 years of building production systems, handling 15M+ record datasets, and slashing processing times by 95%, I've developed a sixth sense for exactly where things are going to break. Let's fix them before they do.
AI Integration & Automation
I connect your scattered tools and automate the soul-crushing repetitive work. Whether it's wiring up the Claude API, OpenAI, n8n, or custom Agentic workflows, I build pipelines that actually execute in the real world. Forget the AI hype—I just build the plumbing that works.

Background
About
I'm a backend developer based in Ho Chi Minh City, currently building my way out of traditional employment. After 7 years of wrestling with Node.js and scaling AWS infrastructure, I decided it was time to build things for myself. Now, I'm piecing together my own indie game dev ecosystem—where every tool, game, and content pipeline I write inevitably ends up serving the others.
Nine years ago, I co-founded Bookie , a Vietnamese reading community. These days, I've built an AI video pipeline for it—n8n orchestrates 10 workflows that turn books into fully narrated videos, triggered from CLI, a web UI, or a Google Sheet (because manual editing is for the birds). I'm also building my own game in Godot — a creature-raiser crossed with an auto-battler — and hacking on Agent Hub to make Claude Code actually useful across multiple projects without losing its mind.
I'm a systems thinker by day, an unapologetic city-builder addict by night, and my daughter arrived in April 2026. Send sleep tips.
